Cindy comes to us with several years of experience in many different facets of therapy practices. She has worked with adolescents through adults of many cultures and populations. She has extensive experience in the field of substance abuse and is able to provide outpatient treatment services, alcohol and drug evaluations, and co-occurring evaluations. She also has experience with premarital counseling, marriage conflict/communication struggles, divorce cases, and some cases involving custody and/or visitation of children. In addition to therapy for anxiety, depression, and

other mental health concerns, she also provides therapy to those struggling with the everyday events we face in the journey of life.

Cindy primarily focuses on Person Centered and Solution Focused treatment modalities, while also utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along the way. It is important to her to develop a comfortable, trusting relationship and a unified desire to achieve the best life possible while empowering and believing in the ability to be our very best selves!

Cindy taught many courses for TAP, Training for Addiction Professionals, including both core classes and continuing education and is currently an adjunct professor at Doane University. She is an

original trainer of the CASI, Comprehensive Adolescent Severity Inventory, an adolescent assessment tool. Cindy is also a Registered Service Provider for the State of Nebraska. She is a

Master Trainer of 8 to Great. “8 to Great is a patented step-by-step formula that the happiest and most successful people use every day. Implementing 8 to Great will take you from wherever

you are in life to where you want to be.” – MK Mueller

Typically assisting Cindy in her therapy sessions is her trained therapy dog, Neko. Neko originally obtained his diploma in basic obedience training from K-9 Coach Training in York, NE. He continued his education by receiving his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC Community-Canine Good Citizen (CCGC) from Citizen K-9 Training Academy in Lincoln, NE. He loves his job and making new friends.
