Bobbie has been practicing as a therapist since 2010. She loves meeting new people and connecting with others. Her approach is relational, authentic, and accepting, with a shot of humor. She practices from a wellness perspective and believes that people are doing the best they can. Bobbie believes everyone has inherent worth and deserves to feel good as they evolve into the best version of themselves.

Bobbie works with preschool age kids through adults. She has a wide range of clinical focus, some of which include trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, mood disorders, children’s behavior, and life transitions. Bobbie uses various techniques tailored to each individual to facilitate healing and growth.

She has specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to quickly resolve symptoms of trauma in a way that blows people’s minds. Essentially, this method processes a traumatic (stressful/ overwhelming) situation quickly and effectively to reduce symptoms and quickly see improvement. This is an evidenced-based treatment and is effective for all ages.

Bobbie also has specialized training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy or PCIT. This is an evidenced-based program used to assist parents and their children in affirming a warm relationship with one another as well as addressing behavioral issues.
