I see my mission as a Psychotherapist to empower individuals towards personal growth and mental wellness through compassionate, client-centered therapy.

With over 8 years of experience as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and 7 years as a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LDAC), I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders.

My diverse experience spans many various settings, including:
• Psychotherapist for the Nebraska Department of Corrections.
• Residential Therapist at a center specializing in major mental illnesses and co-occurring
substance/alcohol use disorders.
• Outpatient Therapist at a nonprofit medical and mental health network that employs over 35,000 providers across hospitals and clinics.
• Founder of my own private practice.

This background has allowed me to see the issues and problems that a client is struggling with from a comprehensive and unique perspective.

I am passionate about helping clients navigate symptoms and behaviors associated with a range of issues, including Anxiety, Depression, Psychosis, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Trauma, Addictions, Personality Disorders, Low Self-Esteem, and Anger Management. I guide individuals in developing coping with stressors ,and problem-solving their unique life challenges.

My therapeutic approach emphasizes teaching individuals to observe their thoughts, to identify their personal patterns of maladaptive thinking, then to systematically challenge their maladaptive thinking, and finally to formulate more appropriate adaptive responses to events or problems. This approach allows for the modification of the faulty thoughts, evaluations, and beliefs that are the underlying
cause for their psychological and behavioral disturbance(s).

I am clinically trained in various evidence-based modalities, including:
• Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Schema Therapy
• Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Additionally, I am a certified Hypnotherapist through the International Association of Counselors & Therapists (IACT), a specialty that has proven particularly effective in trauma treatment.
